Special Guest Presentation

Sea Breeze Recreation Center,

Sunday January 22nd, 2017

Special Guest, Fritz Peterson, spoke to a small crowd of people gathering in a Sea Breeze Recreation Center. The presentation went on despite the threat of thunder storms and even tornadoes.

Fritz, a New York Yankee left handed pitcher (1966 -1974), holds the record for having the lowest ERA of any pitcher (2.50) in the original Yankee Stadium.

He talked about his years with the Yankees including his relationship with other Yankees, mentioning Mickey Rivers, Mickey Mantle, Thurman Munson and Mel Stottlemeyre in particular.

He also spoke about the book he wrote concerning the years he spent with the Yankees, a movie about him that may be in the works and a new book he is in the midst of writing.

Fritz was enlightening, entertaining and fun to listen to. He answered questions and signed autographs after he spoke and a good time was had by all.
