Per President George Reever:

Thanks to the 50 people who reserved a seat on the bus for our picnic.  There are 6 seats still available for the April 25 game at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.  The total cost of the trip turns out to be $65, $10 more than anticipated, but does include an additional perk.  Therefore, the club will share the additional cost and pay $30 for each member who attends.  Members will pay $35.  Guests will pay the full cost of $65.  The trip includes:

Round trip bus to Steinbrenner Field in Tampa

Lower reserved seat behind home plate for 6:30 PM game

Souvenir Tampa Tarpons hat

Buffet in air-conditioned Dugout Club (immediately behind our seats)

Buffet is all you can eat and drink from 5:30 when gates open until end of 7th inning and includes hot dog bar, various sliders, specialty salad, popcorn, peanuts, pretzel bites and trail mix.  Drinks include Pepsi products and bottled water.  Beer and wine are available but NOT included.

And one of the following:

Meet and greet with one player and one coach OR

Player signatures on the Tarpons hat OR

Field access during batting practice.  This option means the bus must leave 2 hours earlier since batting practice is at 3:30.  Your comments are welcome.

Please forward your checks made out to The Villages New York Yankees Club.  Mail them to George Reever, 1121 Oak Forest Dr, The Villages, FL 32162.  Checks must be received by our March meeting on March 27.

We hope that all 56 seats on the bus will be filled.  The people with reservations get a seat and the first 6 other people to pay will get a seat.  Anyone else will go on a standby list in the order they were received.
